1929 Model A Pick up
All steel
change of plan means I will offer it for sale
Essence of hot rod, this is not you traditional build but very much my take on things
It is running an Alfa V6 with a 5 speed transaxle under the buck
Only on the road for the first time this year but has been to the Nationals
Looking for offers aroung £14K
For the right price it will come with a spare engine, two gearboxes, Steel wings, bonnet & sides

Thought I would try a different format

1929 Ford Model A Pick Up

Registered as a historic 1929 Ford – Tax & Mot exempt.

Body : All Steel (supplied with hood, side panels and spare grill,
two steel front wings, and one glass wing, two steel rear wings two running boards and glass aprons)
Cloth material on roof. Aluminium fuel tank in buck with 12v battery.
Toughened glass - winders etc . Front screen opens.

Re wired, fused with a cut off switch to kill all power.

white front / red rear Flashers.
Halo style headlights with flashers built in
1940 Chevy truck rear lights flashing stop light.

Chassis – Original 1929 – 'C' section K member.
Steel Wheels – tyres are radials.

New Disc brakes and calipers all round 11" GM front inboard Alfa rear.

Gearbox is a 5 speed alfa transaxle – LSD. 2 spare gearboxes

Engine is an Alfa 75 3L trying to look like a Flathead – all new ignition parts.
3 Nikki carbs with re-made bases to look like strombergs.
Megasquirt ECU running efi, set up on rolling road made 140BHP

landrover radiator.

Steering is via VW bus box – with all new TCA and cross steering arms.

Front beam 4" drop superbell with all new parts from speedway

Rear axle is an Alfa De-dion with rear hubs modified to suit Jaguar wheels

Speedo and techo are Dakota Digital

Still for sale but this time open to offers, I will be putting this on e-bay again with a reserve so if I am offered that it can go. Only want to sell so that I can get another project, happy to answer any questions.
go on somebody must want a steel A I have seen non running project go for more than my reserve.
