1934 Roadster
Due to lack of time / growing family / new car on the road / wife losing her job etc etc, I am selling my unfinished roadster project.
The car is unfinished and whilst it is effectively a rolling chassis it has been stripped for paint.
The engine, transmission, axles etc have all been mounted. A days bolting together and some springs would see this as a rolling car. All the hard work has been done and someone with more time than me could get this on the road by the end of summer.

The body is a Dooster 1933 speedster which is basically a glass 34 roadster body with extended bonnet and hood sides & raked grill shell. I sold the roof section some time ago as I couldn't see how I could get it to work in a satisfactory way. I also got rid of the beetle 1303 windscreen which it came with as I didn't like the way it was supposed to be mounted.
Boot lid is hung.
Polished MGB windscreen uprights (modified to suit flat glass).
Ford Probe seats (need re-trimming). Underfloor servo.

3.5 Rover V8 engine fully cleaned and rebuilt with new +20 rings and gaskets throughout. Polished Rocker covers and SU pots, which could do with bit of a clean up again. Engine has been running since rebuild. Cylinders oiled and regularly turned whilst stored.
Twin SU's. P5 exhaust manifolds, starter motor and alternator.

Weld pro stars which have never turned in anger.
15x4.5 fronts with new 145 tyres only used for mock-up.
10 x 15 rears with new cooper cobra GT's 295 x 50 x 15's
Wheels are on US 5 stud PCD and fit the axles properly.
Includes a full set of new flanged wheel bolts to suit.

Dooster 4"x2" box section chassis with additional cross members and strengthening & gusset plates.
Includes 8 point removable CDS cage incorporating anchor points for 3 point harnesses.
Granada front crossmember.
Chassis has recently been stripped, wire brushed and brush painted.

Mondeo steering column with collapsible section, new UJ's and pop browns splined shaft (supported by rose joint).
Escort steering rack - just mocked up at present.

Rover LT77 5 speed manual gearbox - Cleaned up and believed to be in good order.
Comes with bell-housing and shifter.
New (old stock) three piece clutch kit.
Brand new pro built one piece prop-shaft

Front Suspension
Granada front suspension with new bearings, ball joints and brake pads.
The hubs have been re-drilled and re-splined to fit US ford 5 stud PCD.
I threw the original springs away intending to fit coil-overs in place of them.

Rear Suspension
Mustang rear axle hung on ladder bars with panhard rod and new-unused AVO coil-overs (no springs).
Rear axle is complete with third member half shafts, drum brakes etc

Two headman header mild steel 2" exhaust silencers
Pair of 7" sealed beam headlights in chrome bowls.
Mini heater unit.
Loads of other stuff I can't remember at the moment.
Chrome gas strut for boot lid and hidden suicide door hinge kit.

Jobs to do.
Hang doors, finish steeling out body & Finish bulkhead, Plumb a rad & Exhaust, Fit front bodywork, Paint, Trim, Wire & enjoy.
Some of the pictures shown are from a few years ago so may be a bit dusty now !

I also have a full set of brand new & unused black faced moon gauges (mechanical speedo) mounted in a Billet engine turned dash insert and an Autometer shift light tacho in chrome pod. These are a bit special to me having bought them from the Moon shop in ca myself. If wanted, the buyer can also have these at an additional £350.
Car is located in Plymouth. PM or call me for more details 07855 756290.

Hi. Iv'e attached a few more pics. The first two show it assembled before I stripped it down to paint the chassis. The others show a bit of the boot steeling-out and floor which has all now been glassed in.
Willing to do a deal on car minus engine / box.
