Hi, I am new to this and am after some advice. I have a completely standard popular 103e. I have a ford Essex V6 to fit but I am first looking to lower up the suspension and change to front discs if poss.

is there any kits out there and what are the quickest/easiest and best ways of doing this.

any advice would be appreciated.

This is a difficult question to answer as a lot depends on your skill levels and the equipment you have available. A few years ago the stock answer would be to find the complete front suspension from a Vauxhall Viva HA, which after some simple modifications would simply bolt on to the Pop chassis rails. You might be lucky enough to find one but most likely you will have to fabricate something yourself or get a front end fabricated by a rod shop. Quickest and easiest is probably to buy a complete chassis designed for the Pop, so that all the suspension, steering, brakes etc are then basically just a bolt on job. Check out the build threads of all the Pop builders on here and especially on the NSRA forum where you will see in great detail how the Pop has been upgraded in a huge number of ways. Good luck with the build.
