3 years experience on classic and modern vehicles, learning fabrication and welding
I'm 19 and looking for a job that consist of engine work/tuning, bodywork, fabrication, welding, painting and customising preferably on American vehicles in Surrey. I've been working on cars for 3 years and completed my apprenticeship with an Aston Martin specialists in January 2014. I'm currently learning to weld MIG and TIG and just completed the beginning of a level 3 NVQ in fabrication and restoration with contour autocraft. Start learning my jig making at the end of March 2014 with contour autocraft too. I have a level 2 qualification in Motorsport engineering and a level 3 city and guilds. I prefer older vehicles to work on rather than new vehicles and would like to expand my knowledge on American cars and bikes. I have a keen interest in American vehicles, hotrods, ratrods, dragsters, choppers, bobbers and customs. I currently have 2 projects at home which are a 1988 Mini Mayfair for a full restoration and a 1990 Chevrolet S10 V6 to repair and re-paint.

Had a few companies contact me but keep getting told I don't have enough experience with fabrication. Recently made a Morris minor pickup cross member from scratch images are on my profile page so please check them out and any feedback or comments would be great.

If anyone knows of a job vacancy going please email me [email protected]
