I thought about it for two years, was considering a cheaper option of dc motor and lead acid batteries , then I thought, bugger it life is too short and went for it. I did talk to a guy that works with ev shop in Romania and lives here in uk. He is dealing with the technical side of the ev stuff otherw I wouldn’t have started. It’s not cheap, around £9 grand for the Tesla modules and £16 grand in all excluding mechanical upgrades. But I’ve been told it will be very fast. Not long now I reckon,

Most probably cheaper than building a normal hotrod.

Will be interesting to see how you get on. Had been wondering about doing an old Hilux to replace the old oil-burner in it, but watching that Guy Martin program the other week, it cost him I think £220 in electric charges (fast charge on at least one) for a journey that would have been £140 in diesel!
