hi

fitted a servo to my F100 56 and discs on the front
after driving it for a while the fronts start to bind ?

i fitted residue valves maybe i should take the front off ?
anyone had this prob

HI Rich did you use a kit to convert to disc and add servo,like the one supplied by companies like Midfifty F100,these come with a brass coloured proportioning valve and should not need any residual valves.I used one of these on my '53 it fitted in place of the original master cylinder and was great.If not did you check the pushrod clearance between the servo and master cylinder.

Take the valve out for the front disc this keeps a 10 psi pressure in the brake pipe to stop drain back cause by the springs in the drums ,this then stops the disc pads from clearing the discs.

i think i have them around the wrong way i have the 10lb red one on the front and the blue 2 lb on the rear
but as you say the red 10lb should be on the rear drums
