Looking for a 671 blower. I've got a 6v71 with snout (not very pretty the snout not me !!😯) but not big enough for my engine (454 bbc) but good for a small block or rover bugger I'm waffling now anyway owes me £250 anyone wants it and any one selling a 671 very interested thanks chris .

hi chris, that wasn't a typing error was it? you have a 6v71 and want a 6 71? i'm prepared to be corrected but i'm certain both blowers are the same except for the angled mounting bolts on the 6v71. the 6 and the 71 denote the size.

The 6v71 pumps less air then the 6:71,

You need a large bore 6 71 which displaces 411 cubic inches per revolution as opposed to the 6v 71 which is 327 cu/rev. A large bore 6 71 has a rotor diameter 1/4" larger than a small bore which equates to a lot over the 15" rotor length.
