Bloody hell, didn't see that one coming, didn't even realise he'd gotten that old . Great actor ,first remember seeing him in Pennies fro Heaven , a Dennis Potter play. It's a loss that feels like a family member has gone :(

He had Parkinsons which in itself is a horrible disease. It leaves you open to chest infections getting bad very quickly so sometimes the pneumonia antibiotics etc. don't improve things.

My Dad had Parkinsons for 8 years but it was pneumonia that finally took him in 3 days.

RIP Bob Hoskins, a great British actor.

R.I.P.

I remember the first time I saw Bob Hoskins was in a television adaptation of The Wind in the Willows. He was a very good Badger.

A Sad Loss - very nice Fella...

we met him once (on the next table at Breakfast in a small Cornwall Hotel) - just a nice, regular, unassuming chap.

RIP, Bob
