We're starting a second monthly meet, on the third Sunday of the month, at the newly renovated Leopard pub on the B4087 in Bishops Tachbrook, just south of Leamington Spa and 5 minutes from the M40. Same format as the Long Itch meet. They've just started doing breakfasts on Sundays from 10:00am and they have a very big car park! Their address is: 10 Oakley Wood Road, Bishops Tachbrook, Leamington Spa, CV33 9RL. Full cooked breakfasts start at £5.95 or a bacon and egg butty will set you back £3.95, so they're not too expensive.

This is an additional meet, not a replacement for the long established meet in Long Itch!

They do get pretty busy for Sunday lunches, so how about we leave at 11:45 and trundle up the Parade in Leamington, before dispersing?

Here's a location map http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en...52.254604,-1.537914&spn=0.079863,0.15398&z=13. The pub is on the west side of the B4087, just on the northern edge of the village.

Note that J13 is limited to north-bound traffic only, if you're heading south on the M40 use J14 instead. From J14, take the last exit at the big roundabout, heading up the hill. Take the first turn left into Bishop Tachbrook, drive through the village and take a left onto the B4087. The Leopard is on the left within a hundred yards or so. From J13 turn left at the end of the sliproad and then take the first left which is the B4087. You'll skim the edge of Bishops Tachbrook and the Leopard will be on your left.

See you on Sunday.

Wow,

I was genuinely surprised at the amount, and variety, of cars that turned up. The car park was overflowing. I am sure the pub's restaurant will be pleased with their taking too.

Good event, look forward to many more

I always enjoy a trip up the Fosse Way and today didn't disappoint.

Cheers

Martin

Thanks to everyone who made it today. I think it was generally well recieved by everyone. Please say so if you thought anything could be improved. I think the Leopard did well, especially as they weren't expecting us - bit of a misunderstanding it seems from when I talked to them last. Next time the service should be quicker and they won't run out of eggs. They'll also put the big coffee machine on and do coffee for £1, instead of £2.

See you there again on Sunday 15th November. Meanwhile here's a few from today:
