i thought vortecs were all center bolt col, i knew about the angled manifold bolts, they seem to have the undrilled bulges for perimeter bolt rocker covers, is this common to all vortec heads, i readily admit to not knowing much at all about later GM stuff.Vortec heads (copies)
You would need different inlet manifold if running on early (pre vortec) SBC

You can see the bolt holes drilled for centre rocker box bolts both visible in forth pic.
No idea who makes them, or how good they are.
