Hi Lads has anybody used leaf springs from another car to replace there old Ford Consul Classic worn out ones.Ive been offered one of these cars but the springs are shagged on it.

i have a consul capri, i had mine retempered, any good leafspring place can recon them

Kev Rooney, "Kapri" on here will help best on this,
i doubt there is a direct swap leaf spring for your classic,
maybe cortina, corsair? but,they'll be just as old as the ones you've got,
maybe get yours retempered?
not sure where in London you are, Paddington springs could maybe help,

I'd have recommended them being retempered , I've seen other spring fitted but it usally required remaking the front mount due to the larger spring eye bush and they tend to jack the rear a lot as well due to being too long .
