Not really a rodding history thang, but still related as it's the title of a new book by Brain Taylor (ex-commentator at SPR & ex-chairman of the BDR&HRA).
It's the history of the first 20 years of drag racing in the UK, but does have some early rod pics in it (some mine!) & is published by Haynes. There will be a "celebrity" signing at the Main Event at SPR on the 24th May, when some of the pioneers of drag racing (& hot rodding) will be present & also John Bennett will be officially inducted into the British Drag racing Hall of Fame.
