Hello, I filled in the online form last week with an enquiry about a multi car policy. I expected a quote there and then but the form said I would be contacted by phone or e-mail within 24hrs as other info was probably required. Haven't heard a peep....whilst I appreciate you may be busy, don't put info like that on a website if it will not be honoured.
In the interim I have got a quote from a company through a comparison website which is very good but I would still prefer to use a company that specialised in our sort of cars.

Hi german8rcoupe, very sorry to hear that you haven't been contacted by the team. Would you be able to PM me your name? I'll then be able to check what has happened with the form from the website and why you haven't been contacted.

Many thanks,
Scott

Hi all, in one of our previous posts we said that we are able to combine motorcycles and cars on to one policy. Unfortunately this is not correct.

However, customers will still receive a multi-vehicle discount. There would be one policy for the motorcycles and another policy for the cars.

We would like to apologies for any misunderstand and inconvenience which this has caused.

Kind regards,
Scott

Hi all,

In response to the last couple of posts I wanted to let you know that the underwriting team are currently experiencing a high volume of calls, at certain times during the day, so it may take longer than is ideal to answer your calls. I fully appreciate that this isn't ideal and would kindly ask that you bear with us. Please be assured that this is being taken very seriously.

We also have a range of forms on our website for quotations and policy amendments, if you prefer not to hold on the telephone. We are also contactable by e-mail, details below.

With kind regards,
Scott

Great company and excellent product, cannot fault the competitiveness of the business and would recommend to anyone. However I have had an issue that may effect others.

Didn't renew my insurance with RH when it lapsed: Didn't have two of the cars on the road and sold the third.
Didn't renew, agree to continue or insinuate in anyway I wished to continue with the premium. Further more, the monthly mandate only stated the policies twelve month debits.

Nine'ish months later, checked the bank debits and cancelled an unknown premium. A company who the debit was setup to informed me I'd no longer be covered by insurance....that I didn't have, and refused a nine'ish month refund. Eventually got put thru to RH - I had no policy so assumed RH were not to blame for continued debits.
BUT. Turned out RH had continued the policy past the renewal date.
So I Queried only to be told it was standard policy to keep premiums running past the expiry date... Checked small print, no such clause. Queried again, no movement on stance. To top it all off - one of the cars was keyed when parked on my drive during the period of time I had the phantom cover for so could've claimed, ended up selling the car at a knocked down price because of the damage.

So, keep up the great prices and service (will be taking a new policy out in a month or so) BUT, check your standard procedures and if standard procedures like these are common - tell people! I've never had a policy that has rolled past an expiry date without my consent or prior knowledge. Just left a sour taste despite what is a bloody good and cometativley priced company!

Hello heathy12,

Thanks for your comments. Our policies automatically renew each year if you elect to pay by direct debit. Our renewal letters state “As you are paying by Direct Debit you need take no further action. Details of your payments will be confirmed by Premium Credit Limited under separate cover. Should you wish to pay your premium in full, or not go ahead with this policy, please call us on the number provided at least five days before the expiry date to ensure no payments are requested from your bank.“.

Kind regards,
Scott
