Not the usual DVLA rant but a happy ending!
I made a doolally of a cock up when I scrapped my old daily and accidentally sent off the log book to my Zodiac (yes what a dick)
After sending loads of emails and a letter to no avail I managed to get through on the phone to the right department and spoke to a really helpfull and knowledgable guy (Gavin I think his name was) and sorted it all out there and then.

I sent off some changes to mine (1.4l to 4.6l) got a letter back asking to prove. Sent picture of an old 4.6 and the new (I did replace an engine) and a letter from an independent expert and got a logbook back a week later! Excellent!

If it was Historic you didn't have to do that ,shows how on the ball they still are
