They do sound odd. Big cheer when that german bloke didnt even get into the last qualifying session, but then neither did Button. Some great driving from the new boys, should be an interesting race, especially if wet. Not keen that they only have 100kg of fuel, are we going to see races ruined for lack of fuel instead of crap tyres this time?

hmmm
the big story for the last couple of months has been how crap the red bull is
others seem to think the RB is a fantastic design but suffering reliability wise because its so radical
Horner said they expected to be behind at first but would be competative by the time they get to europe
first race and although Vettel had problems [including like Button missing the top ten due to a yellow flag at the end of q2] the other RB was battling at the front all through qually and only missed pole by a nats wottsit!.
of course RB have been breaking down more than most but all the teams have been breaking down a lot including the mercs in practice this weekend
the peak power with the new power units is up to the point that the drivers are complaining of too much torque but the fuel limits mean they wont be able to use it for much of the race.
the winner will be the one that has a reliable enough car to last the race and whose team can best maxmise the tyres and available fuel rather than the fastest car/driver combo.
roll on sunday
when the flag drops the bulshit stops!

:yeahthat:

It looks as though the races will be won by the engineers/strategists this year, it's a shame that the likes of Alonso won't be able to race to the max.

Forget Europe Vettle will probably be at the sharp end again by the time they get to Malaysia Grand Prix judging by Riccardo's performance.
