OK guys,remind an old man -site the pump near to the tank or carb ?? Bry

i would guess at the tank,i seem to remember there better at pushing fuel rather than pulling it....

Mount the pump just after the tank Bry, and fit an inline filter between the two. Any crap that escapes from the tank wll be caught by the filter before it chews up the pump.

Only SU-style electric pumps are suitable for mounting near the carb. If you don't specify a "puller" then you'll usually get a pusher pump.
