It's the short piece of hose between the Jag' E-type flip top filler cap and the steel pipe down to the tank.

Are there any universal filler hose that will fit, or do I have to buy a genuine Jaguar part?
I measured it to be 2 1/2", but maybe I wasn't accurate enough, because in diffeent listings, the filler rubber hose is meassured to be from 2 1/8" to 2 1/4" in inner diameter.

You can buy straight fuel hose cut to any length from Merlin Motorsport, but probably no cheaper than the eBay one. My only question, as it's on eBay, would be "How can you tell it is fuel hose and not radiator hose?" although as it is from a 'shop' you would hope they are selling the right stuff.

:yeahthat:, basically you pay thru the nose buying a genuine one from people like SC parts, so merlin, or apmotorsport, make sure you get the correct diameter. I restored an E type two years ago. and found alot of the parts weren't cheap to buy, but not necessary quality. hope that helps
