they've just insured my new toy for £170 less than 'Flux' quoted me &
for better cover :shock:
they were friendly & pleasent to deal with, & i would recomend you give them a call if your insurance is due :tup:

i only called them because they actually had what i call a real phone no;
& not a 0844/0845 no; that costs you money ( especialy mobile) all the time
your listening to that f'in prerecorded computer :shake::tdown:

My mate had a Mk2 consul and avoided an accident but doing so mounted a kerb and damaged his steering

They paid out with no problems and as they dont use no claims it didnt harm his premium the following year

as i said ive mentioned them a few times http://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/search.php?searchid=176120

Another insurance company I've just found is Frank Pickles also with a real number. Don't know what their service is like but their premium for my truck is half of Adrian Flux and Classicline with what seems like exactly the same cover.

+1 (well, 2 really) for RH Classics

Got the following on both of mine (all mods declared);
Fully comp
'Agreed' value (though that term seems to start debates)
Unlimited mileage
Breakdown cover (incl European trips)
Unlimited windscreen
Free salvage retention
Cover for parts NOT fitted to vehicle

Mustang £96
C-20 £65

Beat that !!

Hi Barney,

:tup: I have got the same cover on my Olds £87.15, best price i could find anywhere and by a large margin as well. Been with them 4 or 5 years now, no complaints from me.

Cheers.

Hi tatuu,

I am sure mine is unlimited mileage (i am going to check later)

They also quoted me the same for the Model Y Rod (£87.15) but havn't done that yet as it is covered by another policy that i switched and hasn't run out yet.

Cheers.

This sounds promising!!
I wonder if they do "laid up cover" as my MGB is technically off the road for the time being. I do take it out to the tracks and Drag it. But I'm more concerned about it being covered for theft or fire damage while its in the garage.

I'll give these guys a call I think.

I heard yesterday by letter that Colchester insurance Co who advertised in most of the mags have sold the business to Adrian Flux. Could I be in a situation where more premiums are asked?
Hi gramps,

It shouldn't make any difference, if they have bought the existing business they have to honour any existing agreements. Could be a whole new ball game come renewal time though.

Cheers.

Russ.
