Topspeed sell a 7" conversion with LED indicators but it's kind of expensive S7420 Headlight Conversion, 7 in. Crystal, Amber Turn Signal LED, PAIR | eBay

I've bought Range Rover parts from these guys and they're OK. I don't know if they would make a set with the DRLs replaced with amber LEDs instead NEW 7" Round LED DRL style Headlights for Ford Anglia Escort mk1,2 Cortina Mk2 | eBay

Or you can get these from USA but then they have the USA flat beam pattern 7" Tribar Headlights with Built in Amber Turn Signals | eBay

In fact, there's a load of 7" with turn signal on ebay.com

If you want to drill your existing headlights then the old BL/Triumph bulb holder would be a good solution TRIUMPH SPITFIRE,GT6,STAG,TR6,DOLOMITE,2000 REAR LAMP BULB HOLDER SINGLE CONTACT | eBay

You could try PMing "Wrench" on here, he has done this on his sons Pop - this was featured in one of the mags last year - it has a pin-up on the boot door.

I looked into doing this, but remember C&U says front indicators must be white if you have red rear ones and I couldn't find anything that could be seen in white when the headlights were on.
I'm not sure what I've done (small light tucked under bucket) is any better mind.

If this is the case then surely you could use the lights with LED DRLs available on eBay. Use the DRLS as indicators and change the flasher unit to a no load type
