Hi guys need your opinion and help with something.

I have a Chevy small block V8 and my headers are cherry red, I need to reduce the heat produced. I have looked into cermaic coatings, does anyone recommend this? I have found a company called Zircotec who offer coatings in lots of different colours. Has anyone heard of them or dealt with them before?

Well personally i prefer wrap, works really well and is usually cheaper too
Provided you use the car regularly to dry the wrap if the car lives outdoors. Ask me how I know :shake:

Ali spraying is best combination of longlasting and reasonably priced, generally lasts many years,
Hpc coating thats done in the UK is expensive and tends to not last that long,
Header wrap tends to speed up the rusting process of the headers but you wont notice due to the wrap!

My headers were coated by Zirtec, they offer different types of coating, the better the heat reduction the higher the cost.
My coating significantly reduced temps, but I'm not talking Cherry red

It's not cheap, but has lasted well & done what they said it would do. I would get another set coated.
