I've got an Edelbrock 1405 carb and when the engine is running, petrol slowly drips out of where the throttle rod goes into the carb. I've taken the rod out assuming that there would be a duff seal but there isn't a seal at all! What do I do now?

The rods wobbles slightly in the hole which I assume it shouldn't.

Thanks lads.

sounds like the bore in the carb is worn, only real cure is either a new carb or have yours bored out and a bush fitted (used to be a comon mod before carbs came more available) i have done various mods in the past (many for blown applications) to stop this but none are cheap.
