I went into this several years ago and built several units, whilst it does work on basic engine management pre cat, anything later needs gadgets adding to alter the management, it does have its drawbacks ie having to lift the bonnet often to check the water level and ampage draw on the cell.
You are basically producing a small amount of hydrogen which is fed into the intake, but if its not done correctly the first time you floor it you will suck the contents of your cell into the engine :tdown:
Did it work for me? not really the improved results just didnt justify the time faffing with it, however that said im sure it does work better for some, its certainly an interesting project to undertake if you have time on your hands.
