Hey there sods (if that's how you guys refer to each other on here),

I've finally done it, against my lovely wife's wishes I have bought my dream classic car; the Ford Escort mk 2. However, it does need a bit of work and I'll be moving to Essex in a couple of weeks' time. I'm looking for any reliable car restoration companies in the region and have found a couple.

Car Colour Services - Buy Car and Motorcycle Paint Supplies and Equipment Online - Car Colour Services

And

CL Classics Vehicle Restoration - CL Classics | Classic Car Restorers | Essex | UK

Have you guys used any of these before or would recommend any others. Let me know!

To be fair mate try and find a company who has/still restores FORDS as opposed to jags etc .They will most likely have some parts already in stock.Dont worry about paint factors as the restorer will deal with that. What mk 2 you got

Dont go by web sites alone, visit the places and see what there up too, earlier this year i was trying to find a company to do some restoration for me, and took the time to visit 4 i had picked out from the www, which suggested anything and everything could be done, what an eye opener  i wouldnt have given them a tonka toy to work on, needless to say im doing it all myself.
