Not sure if this should be in technical section, but it's just a general question really. I'm looking at a car that's been tubbed and has 15-18 inch or so wide rear wheels. The arches aren't flared though. If I put on more usual 8 or 9 inch wheels, will they look silly in the existing arches? Thanks fellas....

Probably as the axle will have been narrowed to suit the much wider rims you'll find that 8-9" are 5" or so away from the arches inside . To get it to look 'right' you'll need to instal a suitable axle. Plus the suspension will all be tight in the middle so you'll have the handling of pro stock but without the look .If you don't like the look of pro stock then I'd pass as it would cost a fair bit to get it back to a conventional set up.
