I've now put Ken Sweeney's pics on my website. They've already been seen on this and the other site and I've used Kens own captions plus comments from other posts on the thread and some of my own captions on the pics. As always if you see any mistakes or want to add anything to the captions let me know and at the end of the last gallery there's about 50 tri-Chevies which need identifying from the early 80's. I reckon there's enough tri-Chevy experts on this forum now to be able to ID them all
here's the link to the pics http://www.timetraveldvds.co.uk/page93.html

Hello. See, In a way it's good not to know who's car I am taking a picture of. Cos here we are 30 years later. And the pics are getting people thinking. Well. Thats what I'm telling myself anyway. Thanks Nick for putting them on to your really great timetravel site. Even if I say it myself. Filling the screen with Tri chevies is better than porn. Not that I ever look at that other stuff. Sharon wont let me.

In the first batch Pete De` Solla's mate with the 57 was Steve Braunton.
In the last batch there are 3 shots of a black 56, XLO55X. It belongs to Martin West, Originally imported by Tony Dickson. Had a 350 in and then a 454.

thanks for that Steve, so would I be right in thinking Steve Braunton's 57 in this line-up is the blue one and the green one is Rick Guzzi's? What about the red 57, I know it's a ragtop from looking at Ken's cine film and thought at first it was Bruce Egeleton's but that was red and silver so who owned a red '57 Chevy ragtop in 1975? :S

Other way around Nick. Rick's was the blue appearing one...actually a blue green colour. From memory I think it was NPN 751.
Was the red convertible Brian's (Trip 55) before he owned it?

It's strange isn't it. Whoever would have thought at the time that these vehicles would all have been 'archived'. I just wish the memory was better to give you more detail Nick!
I drove Ricks 57 home from one of those meets and suspect it may have been that one. I can't remember the exact reason why I did but did have Rick's boy Rob with me.

Was the 50 Ford at the same show Bruce Eggleton's brother?

well done Steve, I've been trying to make out the reg from Ken's movie and it's 4 numbers followed by KB, Mike Halls keeps getting in the way with his '57 Ford :shake: so I couldn't get the numbers. I've just checked a pic of Brian's convertible and it's 9846 KB  and I've just found a pic in sept 1975 Hot Car of it and it was then owned by Bill Wittkopp, chairman of the Welland Valley Roadsters so I think we're there. As for the 50 Ford I've no idea on that one:S......yet

VGC 540W was Gary Keirvilles at that time I believe, prior to that it was the pink one that Tracey owned...

The white 57 convert is Glen Moodys

Thanks Stew, now what do you know about this red ragtop in your garages? Ken reckons it was Terry's but dosent have a surname and I've just noticed the reg so it's the ex-Brian Surey ex-Bill Wittkopp car..........

Yes, same car - ex John Beard (he bought from original owner in Rotherham and it was white) Bill Wittkopp (swapped it for a 4 door 64 V8 Nova with John) Brian Surey (swapped it for the notorious 58 Chevy Highway Patrol car), Terry Docherty bought it from Brian, had a load of welding done on it then sold it unfinished to Mick Micetich/Stefan from Orebro, Sweden (a dealer) who sold it in Sweden - the car is now fully restored and stunning as per picture!

Thanks for the info Stew, good to see it looking so cherry although I think it needs the single side pipe back on just to finnish it off
