whats the going rate for a rolling resto series 2 these days

im coming up to 17 in a few months and ive allways loved series 2's after messing about with them with my old man in my younger days
has to be a 125 as i'll be 17 is under a £1000 a resonable starting point
i know my dad picked up one for £400 a couple years back and when he was about 17 he got one for a fiver but them days are over

when i get one i would bung a 175cc barrel and piston and a clubman exhaust also a snetterton seat

wish i had the money for the wildcat stuff haha

To start you would be better of getting a series 3, parts much more widely available and cheaper, you have to be looking Indian these days if you want one at sensible money a rebuild project can still be had for £500 upwards and tatty on the road for about a grand, try frantic scooters in bristol for some keenly priced 2's and 3's,[ Indian ] but check carefully the main frame just behind the front wheel many have been bodged here as they rust out from the wheels spray, [ especially Mk 2's ]
