I bought these trucks from a local scrap yard for less than £50 apiece. My mate Phil White and me took a Drag Bike 'The Flying Cornishman' in front truck. A mate of ours had bought the shiney truck from me and he transported a model Drag Strip. We had a great time pushing each other when we got stopped at a red light.
I bought the truck back and it eventually ended up with Mick Cooke, when he put the blower on his Camaro I ordered one as well for a '55 I was building at the time, we swapped the truck for a blower or something like that.
When I look at the front truck we were ahead of the times, almost ratty.
I do remember the show finishing early because of a bomb threat, can anybody remember that or am I imagining it.

Two IRA bombs did explode without any injuries in Manchester in 1978 Rog, so the old grey cells are functioning as normal. Just for the record though, what did you have for breakfast this morning? ;)
