Hi Andy
Just a note , in my past experience Hoosier even if they read the same size as Mikey always tends to be a bit fatter in the side wall area. They may have a softer caucus (side wall compound) and seem to bulge a bit more. I ran into this many times when a customer would complain after we built a rear half around hi Micky's and later replaced them with Hoosier and had side wall rubbing.......

Thanks for that.

I understand that Hoosiers measurement is the tread width......
Where as Micky Thompsons measurement is the overall width......
So, just as you say, the same sized tyres ( on paper ) are not the same in the flesh.
