ocasionally when i'm MIG welding, i'll be welding away... no probs .....take my finger off the trigger to finish and the gas will continue coming out ???? ....and i have to shut it off at the bottle........what causes this, do i need a new tourch ??

sounds like the valve at the torch is sticking, open up the torch and depress the gas and see if it releases after being pressed.

In case anybody else ever has this fault, its the gas solenoid, ... where the gas pipe goes into the welder there is a solenoid just inside the welder case, I gave it a gentle tap with screwdriver handle whilst gas was stuck on ..... and bingo .... all working fine again .... so I'm going to order a new solenoid .... thanks
