It's been a good old Xmas this year. Started my project.....at last.

Started boxing repro 32 rails. Model A front cross member.

Got a ESAB Tig Buddy 160 from Mrs Santa. so started off building a jig for chassie. 1st time ive tig welded. lol



Spacers along chassis for boxing plates to pull up to. only used 80. its one way to learn..








long way to go. :smoke::smoke:

Chassis now boxed and turned out straight. just need 3 small plates to complete.... cheers Brad.

Tigs a slow process but its rewarding...

BROKE THE CHASSIS OUT OF THE JIG TODAY....TURNED OUT STRAIGHT. THANK F***

Very impresive and brave to weld you're chassis rails if you've never used a tig before,

Just pottering today. not up to much........just nuts and bolts and alignment.
Front end bolted up nice.








Rear axle weighs a ton. Just right to get rid of the beers from last nights partying...........Cheers Brad:coffee:

REAR AXLE SQUARED IN FRAME JUST ON AXLE STANDS. WILL BE DOING LADDER BAR MOUNTS AND CROSS MEMBER.







LADDER BAR MOUNT TACKED UP IN POSITION. NEED TO DO OTHER SIDE.








WILL HAVE TO MAKE A JIG FOR THE WELDING UP OF LADDER BARS.

ITS THAT NEW WOOD BURNER IVE PUT IN THE SHED. BEST THING IVE DONE. KEEPS YOU GOING.

A sbc engine ready in frame for mounting. this will allow me to get more measurements an angles Correct. cheers :smoke:






Machine work done on heads for roller rockers.

3 coats of POR15 engine paint.

I was enjoying this build until I realised you made more progress over Christmas than I have in 6 months. Other than accumulating a pile of shiny parts that is.

Dont worry chap. I've been collecting for around 18 months.
Ive now had to start building 2 justify my addiction to buying parts. LOL
