Hi Guys,
Just finished the build of this car. It is used as the pace car for the Mini 7 Racing Club to lead out the cars before the races.

Apologies, I was away over the weekend.

Car Specs:

Morris Minor Traveller.
1450cc, Full Race Engine, Omega pistons, Stroked crank, lightened 'S' Rods, CR over 11.4:1
Manifold Competition Exhaust System, Maniflow Inlet Manifold. 45DCOE carb
Mappable ECU controlled ignition
Ford Sierra 5 Speed Gearbox, although we are looking at putting a Mazda 5 or 6 speed box in over winter as they appear to be a better option now.
Spax adjustable coil over suspension at the front, spa adjustable dampers at rear with Mk2 Escort link arms + panhard rod.
15 x 6 Minilite wheels, 195, 50 15 Yokohama Tyres.

De-Seamed body work, full mechanical and cosmetic rebuild.

alarm, Central Locking, Electric Windows, Heated Electric mirrors.

It is good fun. Off to Rockingham this weekend with the Mini 7 Race Club, do you suppose they will notice its not a mini?

I had a traveller with a guy croft twins In it on R1 carbs, 200hp at the flywheel, fool me it was quick (but not quick enough for me!!!) :lol:

The nice thing with the Morris Minor is the space in the engine bay. It is something a bit different but a nice amount of space to really put what ever you like in it! I will have some pictures and video from this weekend, Hopefully the weather stays nice!

Fozwanger that sounds like a good fun conversion!
