my daily 2007 saab 9-3 2.0t is diving me nuts it has a intermittent ticking noise sounds like a lifter its been doing it for 5000 miles taken it in to saab garage a few times but every time i take it in its running fine, if i hold the steering wheel to put load on the pump it stops let go of the wheel and it starts again? also if i turn the wheel from side to side for a few minutes it pushes fluid out of the pump filler cap, i assume that its the oil seal between the pump and cylinder head letting oil into the pump [pump is driven of the end of one of the camshafts] could it be the pump ticking resonating through the cam covers? the car drives fine and the steering feels fine, any help would be much appreciated.
