The Reliant chassis I am using for my hotrod has the engine two inches offset. I know this isn't uncommon amongst cars, but is it common amongst rods? I have had to cut out the bulkhead opening for the gearbox offset aswell, obviously, and it looks kinda odd, but then again, it might look alright once it is on the chassis. Is it alright to cut the opening in the bulkhead offset, as in my case the tranny tunnel will be also offset? Was this the correct way to do it?
