Theres been a couple of threads on here about sending old car mags out to the lads (& ladys) in Afganistan.
Seems to be a few on here offering old mags in the freebies ect.
C'mon, if you dont know what to do with them, send them out & let loads of lads read them. Never know, we may pick up a few new R n S members.
If your sat in the doctors / dentist looking through Readers Digest from 1995 & you suddenly spot an old car mag, you grap it & have a quick read
Imagine being stuck out in Afganistan ect & suddenly a big pile of car mags turns up :tup:
I've sent a load out, even bought some bike mags down the market (3 for £2) to chuck in. Others on here have also sent some.
Keep this thread in view & send the lads something to read !
I am currently running a camp in Helmand Province in Afghanistan and would like to get as many readers as possible to send my blokes/females ( many are keen bikers) your bike, scooter or car magazines once you have finished with them.
I apologise for the direct approach, but magazines are not delivered as part of our operational welfare package.
The postage is free (up to 2kg) to the bfpo address and all it will cost is the envelope.
The postal address if you would like to help us is;
QM TFH LASHKAR Gar BFPO 715.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and all mags will be read multiple times".
