Any idea what this old cast iron pump is without me dismantling it. Any idea what speed to run it.

Looks like an old compressor pump, maybe off a truck (old). Would have thought between 1-2000 RPM

possible but i used to work on old trucks and the mounts look wrong to be on a engine

I know its a compressor pump, could even be a twin but not had it apart yet. Found it in the back of an old workshop about 40 yr ago. A lot of pics I've seen of old cast iron pumps show them with a rediculously large pulley. Might hook it up to a tank and see how it fares.

The old Gardner compressors mounted flat, same as that although I seem to remember they were twin cylinder, at least in the Atkinsons of the '70s that I worked on as an apprentice

I was thinking old Gardner, AEC, or some of the old military stuff I used to work on 35 years ago.
