Hi I've seen a colour by ppg the code is ppg 11494 when I went to my local paint store they said that's means nothing over that's an American number so couldn't mix it does anybody know if there's a cross ref between USA and uk paint codes it's twilight turquoise it's an original 56 chevy colour

Try 698, I think that is the original chevy code.

Thing is most paint mixing schemes don't go back to 1956 so do you reckon I need buy a touch up pen and try getting it matched over here

The painter who does my caravans has the paint company come along and use a camera type device to do an exact match

if its existing paint could you not get this done locally?
