Thanks for the confidense votes folks, The bent peices of studding are just a guide to make the real thing (more people should do that so they know what it will look like before they think it is finished), Not sure if my jig is upsidedown?, whats yours like?, Z car is getting done slowly,

Bent some bits tonight and took the engine out of the fire engine it was in so it can go into this and make some smoke I hope.

This looks like it could be a lot of fun.Very retro with a Jag engine in the front.What size engine is it and more to the point what kind of fire engine did it come out of? Any pics

that sump btw is the same as an e type and quite sort after...£££££..

Might not look that different but the mock up bits are now gone and nearly all the tubes are in the right place, hope to have it rolling soon

It looks like a good start on the mock up. I am interested in seeing how you put the front end together. Good luck with the build.

Not much to show as spent more time looking for things than working on it!, but got the rear end mounts made, extended the split pop wishbones and mocked up the front end, leaf spring probly not right but happy with the rest.

Decided to get this of the jig and rolling today, bit late but I did it!

Well pleased with it rolling so pushed it out in the sun today, then I had to try the engine in, thankfully it fits like it was made for it.
