nope as that would be wider than the car

car is 56.5(wiki), but not sure on axle width. maybe 48" similar to 100e/ 105(way out on first post!)

48" was for 100E, sit up & beg was narrower, don't know by how much. Have you looked on the Old Ford Services web site, I have a feeling they have some technical specs & dimensions on there.

I'll get the tape measure out this afternoon when I get my ar*e in gear

my fordson measures a whopping 45.5" face to face on both front and rear axles,
I guess the roads must have been narrower "back in the day".
