Hi all just brought some torq thrust d front wheels of eBay they are brand new but the bloke must of don't some spraying by them and got grey primer over spray on them I've got it of the lip as that's just ali finish but can't get it of the painted centers as they are the gunmetal grey finish. Is there any way of getting it off without ruining the paint on the wheels or am I looking at having to sand them and respray them. Would load up pics but can't on iPad will try and get them in my pics folder tho.

Cheers Phil

If there are only a few spots try nail varnish remover but on a cotton bud, it isn't quite as aggressive as thinners and the cotton bud will keep it on the primer spot & nowhere else.
