I thought if it says on the v5 built 1966 its not a kit car its a classic van

Q plate has always attracted road tax. Always.
There must be a reason it's on a Q if it's a classic van?

so if you have a q plate car that was say first registered in 1986,does it become historic tax class when it gets to 40 years old?? and then tax exempt or is a q plate not like that?

at the moment it looks like they will be free when they reach 40 yrs old, nothing on the .gov site to say they wont
