well you all know me as v8.jimmy, but Rock "n" Roll Motors is my business name. We import mainly trucks and panel vans from the States and most are either full projects or running and driving trucks that you can improve as you go along. Occasionally we have to bring in a car to utilise space in the container, but we specialise in '50s Chevy trucks and panel vans, but with an eye for the oddball thing that you don't often see with the idea that "there's a bum for every seat". We always have a selection in stock in Scotland and also stock awaiting shipping in the States. We bring our stock over in no particular order, so, if there's something you see here that you want, let me know and it can be included in the next available container. A deposit may be required if you want to do this, but generally we work on waiting till they get here and then me being able to give a full and frank description of the good, the bad and the ugly, on the basis that hardly anybody comes to view, and they just buy blind over the phone. I therefore take pride in my descriptions as I would not want you to be unhappy with a purchase bought unseen. I'd rather not sell it to you than have you pissed off when you take delivery.
Although we are based in Grangemouth, Central Scotland, delivery to any part of the UK mainland is no problem as we have a nationwide car carrier with a fleet of multi car carrying trucks very near by, and he always gives me a good price.
We also do wedding hire with a '57 Chevy BelAir and '60 Mercury Montclair.
We also do restoration work, mainly to '50s Chevy trucks which are our speciality.
We also offer container space for you to bring in large, heavy or bulky items that cost a fortune to ship direct. It's a slow service and it's sea freight only with personal collection by yourself at this end, so not suitable for everybody, but works well for some.
We can sometimes offer space to ship a car, but no trucks as that's what we mainly sell, and a car can be handy to fill the space in a container. I've been asked lately about bringing in bikes, so that's a possibility but we'd need to talk about it.
Contact Jim on 07593 187939, e-mail to [email protected] or [email protected] or PM me through this site.
Below are some of our stock vehicles here and in California. Some may be customer vehicles which we sell on commission.

Having dealt with Jim and buying a truck(1955 3100 Pickup) off him i can highly recommend him.

Having traveled down 3 to 4 hours to his place we(wife and I) were delighted to see the truck(s) we viewed were exactly as Jim had described in his advert on here.

I'd never met the fella before and can hand on heart recommend him if you are looking to purchase a vehicle from him.

No bull, just honest description and honest dealings...a genuine pleasure to deal with.

I wont hesitate to deal with Jim again when the time is right for me to purchase another motor.

Mark, that IH would take a V8, BUT with it being so original and all working, it's probably best left as is for a while.

Mario, thanks for the kind comments, much appreciated. When a buyer does all the right things: asks the right questions, has the funds ready, gets the wife involved right from the start, and can either visit or take the chance on buying blind, then as long as the seller can also be straight, a deal is inevitable! And when that deal is struck, both parties are happy and it's a pleasure all round.

some new additions.
the '51 F1 has a daft looking body on it but comes with a proper stepside body that can be switched over. Not sure of the cab in the last 2 pics, if anybody can tell me the model/year it will help. It is all steel and solid, but what you see is all that's there.

loading another two containers soon, haven't decided 100% on what to put in them so if anybody has serious interest in anything I have, let me know and I can plan it in.
Also have space for bulky/heavy spares if you need anything brought in. Bear in mind, I really need you to be able to collect from Grangemouth as I don't want to get too involved with couriers, etc and the possibility of your goods getting damaged.
