Going to take my inlet manifold off soon to fix an oil leak. I'm running a Holley 390 on a standard inlet at the mo.

Is spending £200+ on a Edelbrock performer worth it or am i better sticking with what ive got ?

Whats the gains ?

the manifold should be a smoother transition into the engine, but without seeing a photo of how yourshas been converted its hard to say. I can supply the edelbrock for £217 plus postage

I found the Holley 390 and Edelbrock Performer a great package, together they are a vast improvement over stock. Better gasflow at lower speeds so improved torque.

as above, we found with a modded rover manifold the engine ran out of steam towards the top fo the rpm range, just don't think it could flow what a 390 had to offer, the edelbrock was a great improvement

i had an edelbrock rover inlet when they first came out 25 odd years ago. very good power delivery and didn't run out of puff as modified stock ones do
