the reason they dont give you a price is the price changes as to who is asking and what goes in them
We got down from £250.00 to £200 without a problem, put my misses on it and I reckon we would have been at £180.00
In Swindon we got down to £170 recently by ringing round and arguing, also a lot of the different companies are the same company (3 in Swindon are the same ) so they get to know who is keen for a good price and who will just pay top price. they play the game well having different people answer although they are all in the same office
You can get the price down having it dropped on your drive and not the highway so no license needed. If you fill it with one thing such as earth only or bricks/rubble only then you often can negotiate a bit off the price
