I watched it the first time around (a few years ago) a lot more skill involved, they would make their frames from scratch, American Chopper would get a frame of the shelf, then adapt it !
Well worth a watch

the laughing monkey boss chappy
as it pre-dates Mike Myres' Austin Powers any body guess where he plagiarized Randy Simpson?
in 2009 Simpson decided to close/sell Milwaukee Iron due to the economy ........OCC borrowed circa $13m from GE to build new premises

OCC were a one trick pony, same tree different tinsel(I have to say I prefer the Sr style over Junior)........All the builders in Biker Build-off would give OCC a showing up

as the previous link shows MI had effectively no debt, the web site is waiting on an update ,I believe he had a buyer or a deal was struck

MI point to the foreign manufacture of parts, most std HD parts come from China, as was said when HD took Honda to court over Honda's "Made in the USA" Goldwing claim (HD lost)

Having seen the OCC Bike they did for work, I wasn't that impressed, it was OK, but nothing really special
