This is looking great! We would love to provide a quote for this vehicle under the (established in 1977), RH Specialist Vehicle Insurance scheme.

In summary, RH's key benefits include:

  • Complimentary return of cherished salvage (most competitors will deduct up to 40% of any settlement value ie 'buy back'. RH provides the full settlement value in addition to the salvage ie no deduction.
  • Complimentary UK/European breakdown recovery - including home start
  • Zero policy admin fees

Please feel free to drop me a private message or email direct - [email protected].

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Emma :)

You were on my list.
That's great to hear! It's always worth asking whether cherished salvage is offered on a complimentary basis (which it is with RH) or whether it's buy-back / or the insurer retains it.
If you would like to speak to a member of the RH Underwriting team please call 0333 043 3911 or email [email protected].

Please let me have your feedback when you've spoken to Underwriting.

Kind regards,

Emma

I'm sorry to hear that. Please can you email your postcode and name to me so that I can check with Underwriting? There are instances (depending on postcode and vehicle value) where it's sometimes possible to have the garaging clause lifted.
Best regards,
Emma

Well got fed up waiting for A plan to phone back , £228 inc breakdown and legal with Footman James so all road legal now. Good wash and polish next then get the tracking done , need to get some miles on before camping trip to iron any bugs out.

Tracking done I thought I had got it close but still miles out!! Drove okay, need to get used to the gear shift again . Brakes are brill but have a chuff chuff /knock from n/s , might be rust on disc from standing as there was no noise when I drove it without touching the brakes. Still have an oil leak , think the new rocker gasket didn't seat. Steering rack conversion works great as well, very positive but still has enough weight. Wash and a polish next and touch up a few places where the paints poor.

Well its washed and polished, roof could do with painting and I have enough paint left BUT its awkward for me to get at without a higher ceiling in my unit and some scaffold to climb up on . Back lights playing up so bit the bullet and ordered 2 new , last thing I want is getting tail ended due to no brake lights. 10 days till camping trip to Bristol, still have a few thing to fettle.
