I have 2 terminals on the Chevy starter solonoid (see photo below) is there a 'correct' post to connect the starter wire to?
Engine side or outer side? (and yes there will be a rubber cover over the main cable when finished)

From memory the last chevy I had wired up had a small spade connector for the solenoid wire and then three feeds to/from the big terminal, one from battery, one coming back off there to the solenoid switch and then one from the alternator for charging
