I have a SW wings electronic speedo that needs to be recalibrated to the wheel / tyre combo that I have.

I don't have any info with the speedo and so far have had no luck with emailing Stewart Warner in the States.

Does anyone have a "destruction" sheet for the SW speedo or know how to do it ?

Thanks

Colin

the S/W sheet shows 60mph @ 1000rpm input speed to the speedo,
check it on the road with speedo equipped satnav to see how far out it is,

trans? if its one of the common US types glide/350/400 you can change the transmission drive gears to make the speedo read correct.

edit; cockup, didn't read it was electronic.

Steve,
it is an electric speedo but it doesn't have the same wiring as shown in the download. It doesn't have any wires coming from the gauge , just some terminals on the rear face.
I'm sure i've read somewhere that the SW electric speedo's are programmable to take account of rear end ratios and tyre combo's.

It wouldn't be so bad if SW :wanker: answered my emails..............oh well

The speedo is programmed by dip switches in the back when you calculate the turns per mile, I will have a look for the instructions this weekend and let you know if I find them.

Rich,
Yes you're right. There are a row of dip switches along the rear face of the speedo.
Let's hope you can find the "destructions" for the switch positions

Cheers Guys
