Currently got the axle out of the 53 black Prefect for bearing upgrade and paint. Gearbox out and trying the Reliant box for fitting rear mountings. With engine hacked up I can just about get it in but the rear mounts were nit right and got hung up on the cross member. Carved metal off the steel brackets and more off the bearing housing. Wish I had sourced different rubber mountings, smaller in diameter. Currently having a thorough measure to see if and how much to move the engine forward. Looking like something from 8 to 12 mm will be needed and similar for radiator and exhaust. I hope rest of stuff will be ok. Also, the engine stabiliser bars will need adjusting. So, its radiator out, engine mount bolts removed, engine suspended and when everything bolted together see where it rests. Its taking longer as got a 250 race bike to build, 1/3 done, plus two houses to renovate. Lockdown? What's that?
