Bloody pain in the arse, satin black bonnet that's misty streaky, I bought some matt polish, but it's shit!

Can anyone who has satin paint help please

No it's not clear coated, I've looked at matt clear coat however.

Once had something that sounds similar to this. I spray painted outside with matt black aerosols. Car came out with patchy white areas, Was told it occured due to moisture in the air (it was fairly damp). Ended up going over it again.

I've found you've got to wet it all up just like your spraying gloss, and let it dry even. If you dust it on like basecoat the effect will be uneven. Hope this makes sense.

Thing s, it's been painted a while, it's just dulled off, if that makes sence.
I did think because it's fibreglass, that could be one reason.
