not so much myself this time bry,but a friend/fellow apprentice who is always known as "spigot bush".
he was so pleased that he had replaced the clutch in an AEC 8 wheeler in record time.they were bloody awful to do and would soak up many hours.
spigot had just finished his,the driver had arrived to collect the vehicle and they were tidying up the work area.he had used an old primary shaft to align the plate.when he drew the shaft out, the bush came too.it was still stuck on the end of the shaft.
approx 8 hrs after arriving to collect his vehicle the driver actualy took the thing.
spigot is now in his mid forties, and is still called this constantly even though it twenty odd years ago.
